Courtney and Kory’s Wedding

We first met Courtney while climbing years ago (maybe two?) and Kory shortly afterwards. We all shared a love for camping, the outdoors, climbing and adventures so it has been really fun to build the friendship. I remember when Courtney asked me to photograph her wedding and I was so excited!

We were in China when I got the text and knew it would be such an intentional day. Of course it came quicker than we though and before you knew it, we were running around A Room with a View in downtown Nashville, documenting the day we’d talked about for so long.

Enjoy some of their early morning details and getting ready photos!

Courtney and Kory got to have three different intimate moments/first looks before the day got going. First was Courtney and her dad. I got teary eyed cause it was SO stinking precious. Courtney is the only girl in her family so you can imagine all that has gone into this day and what it feels like for her dad to give her away!

Next, Kory got to have a moment with his brother where there were also many tears. His brother gifted him a beautiful watch that is a big deal to both of them in their love for watches.

Lastly, the two of them had a first look together and it was absolutely precious. Courtney had such a gentle spirit about her the whole time and it was heart melting. They are simply walking in what the Lord has laid out before them and watching them see each other all dolled up before the ceremony was so special.

Loved the out of focus look for this one.

Next up we had the bridal party!

This photo is one of my absolute favorites and their entire wedding party was extremely helpful throughout the whole day, super kinda and just a joy to be around.

You may rise…

Walking down the isle on her dad’s arm was perfect. So tender, sweet, and emotional.

Their ceremony was full of friends from all over and everyone was so excited to see them get married! They got married in their church with their pastor officiating it and had worship as well. Fun thing with their ceremony is that I also got to see so many people I knew as well as Weston, so it felt really intimate.

After celebrating we had some time for portraits during golden hour which is everyone’s dream! They are honestly the most easy-going couple and we had such a blast.

The couple of the night.

Annnnd of course, last but surely not least… party time! I have never seen anyone dance at their own wedding as much as Courtney and Kory. It was absolutely amazing. They knew so many actual dance moves, line dances, things I don’t even know what to call it but it was so much fun! They also had the most delicious mexican catered and of course that tied it all together. Courtney and Kory, I wish you nothing but the happiest, most joyful filled marriage one could find. May Christ be the center of everything you do

Love you both, thank you for a wonderful evening!!

Congratulations to the ROUSEY’s!
